Wireless Matrix Officers

Mr. J. Richard Carlson
CEO & President

J. Richard Carlson began his role as CEO and President of Wireless Matrix in May, 2004. He is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Teletouch Communications Inc., a publicly traded wireless communications firm based out of Tyler, Texas, where he led a dedicated paging company through a challenging transition to a multi-product and wireless service distribution company. Mr. Carlson was most recently the President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of U.S. Inspect, LLC, the United State's largest non-franchise home inspection business. He holds an MBA from Georgetown University.

Ms. Maria C. Izurieta
Chief Financial Officer

Maria Izurieta joined Wireless Matrix in 2004. Formerly, Ms. Izurieta was the Chief Financial Officer of VIPdesk, a venture-backed service company based in Alexandria, VA, where she directed the company's financial and strategic planning, as well as supervised internal and day-to-day operations. Prior to her appointment with VIPdesk, Ms. Izurieta was an independent consultant, serving as the CFO to start-up enterprises developing business plans, corporate strategy, and private placement memorandums as well as raising initial and follow-on financings, and she was the Vice President of Finance and Administration for CyberCash, Inc.

Mr. Al Milligan
Chief Operating Officer

Al Milligan joined Wireless Matrix through its acquisition of Norcom Networks in February 2001. He currently leads the Product Management, Distribution and Operational elements of the business. Mr. Milligan has over 20 years experience developing and distributing on-board electronics and communications. Prior to joining Wireless Matrix, Mr. Milligan served as Chief Operating Officer for Norcom Networks and Director of Business and Product Development for Rockwell International's On-Board computing division.

Mr. Mohan Rao
Chief Technology Officer

Mohan Rao joined Wireless Matrix in October 2007 as the company's first CTO. Previously, Mohan was Vice President of Dante Consulting, a boutique management and technology consulting firm where he led the development of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Information Security practices. Mr. Rao also previously served as CTO of venture-backed Career Rewards, Inc., as a management consultant at Deloitte & Touche and at ComSpace, a venture capital and advisory services firm, and as a Staff Director at NYNEX (Verizon) Science and Technology.

Mr. Michael Jakab
Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Mike Jakab joined Wireless Matrix in April, 2006. Mike was VP of Sales and Marketing at venture backed Synchris, Inc. prior to joining Wireless Matrix. He was Senior Vice President of Routing and Scheduling solutions for Descartes Systems Group leading a business unit with P&L responsibility. Prior to Descartes he had P&L responsibility for transportation software solutions at the SABRE Group and was National Sales Manager for a commercial software division of UPS. Mike graduated from Ohio University and served in the United States Navy as a designated Naval Aviator immediately following college.

Ms. Barbara Lyon
Vice President of Customer Operations

Barbara Lyon joined Wireless Matrix as a result of its July 2007 acquisition of MRM solution provider Sapias, and has more than two decades of senior-level management experience in the logistics industry. She previously spent 12 years at Federal Express where she most recently served as managing director of express operations. Previously, she has held management positions at several startup companies, including Cookexpress.com, Bigstep.com, ecargoservice, and Parachute.
