Wireless Matrix Announces $1.75M Software Agreement with Global 500 Company

RESTON, VA - A major international corporation has signed a perpetual license agreement for Wireless Matrix's FD Exec Remote Data Management applications software for a one-time fee of $1,750,000 USD, Wireless Matrix announced today.

Under the terms of the agreement, the licensee will support and maintain this version of the FD Exec software, which is already in use in their product line, and Wireless Matrix will continue to provide maintenance support for six months from the date of the agreement. Wireless Matrix will also continue to provide communications hardware and network services associated with the operation of the FD Exec software through Wireless Matrix's Mobile Business Unit.

"This perpetual license agreement for FD Exec Software is a success for both parties," said J. Richard Carlson, Wireless Matrix President and CEO. "It transitions the lifecycle management of the software to a partner with a vested interest in continuing to serve machine-to-machine applications, and taken with the recent sale of our Remote Telecom and Telemetry business units generates over $3 million in cash to fund new product and service development."
